Rug Layering
I recently purchased a cow skin for my living area and thought all would be right with the world when it arrived (lol). Don't get me wrong, I LOVE it. But as I see it sitting on the ground, I can't help but wonder if it needs something else. It's just sort of "floating" there. Looking online, I've seen a lot of homes where rugs are layered and that makes me wonder if that could work for me. I used to think that look was cluttered but looking at these pics, I'm thinking it maybe not. Hmmm.....

I love the look! I have a cowhide rug and its under my dining table but if it was in my living room I would totally layer it over a seagrass!

Thanks for responding Eileen! I love the look too. I have my cowhide under my dining table as well; but I'm planning to buy another for my living space and will layer with a natural jute rug. I'll be sure to check your blog!
