'Vhat to do, Vhat to do'

Around this time last year, I moved into a really cool condominium association historic to my hometown.  I'm currently renting; but my landlords are really cool with my "need" to modify the place to my liking.  ;-)  Between my full-time job and grad school, my home projects are usually saved for the summer and last summer I worked to make the space my own by painting, taking down the God awful vertical blinds (I hate those) and filling it with various items purchased from IKEA and Craigslist.  The kitchen has a really boring and old laminate back splash, and since I can't tear it down and replace with the marble subway tiles I would prefer ;-), I spray starched a really cool fabric I found at Jo Ann Fabrics.  Below are pictures from my space as created last year.

THIS summer, I plan to shake things up a bit, making my space more "grown up" and glamorous.  I'm becoming a fan of Hollywood Regency, but I still love my Scandinavian style.  So I'm checking out Apartment Therapy and other blogs to find ways to blend the two in a harmonious way.  A few other summer projects:

1. Spray paint patio furniture.  I LOOOVE turquoise, so I'm thinking a derivative of that.  What do you think?

2.  Spray paint an old milk crate I purchased at a flea market.  I was thinking of keeping it the same color; but I'm not sure.  Maybe white...IDK...thoughts??

3) Paint my bathroom.  I didn't get to it last summer, so it is a MUST this year.  I'm settling on gray and I also want a new curtain and shelf to make the TEENY TINY space more glam.

4).  Replace cabinet knobs with something more modern.  I was thinking I may keep these; but I'm sort of curious to see how it would look with new pulls.  Also need to replace the lamp..I saw this cool one at West Elm

5) Replace drapes

6) Finish Basement office space

7)  Replace picture frames.  I want to "standardize" my artwork so it all blends a little better...I'm thinking white.

8) Spray paint vases purchased on sale or at vintage stores

I have a plethora of other projects; but I don't want to bore you with the details.  Hopefully, I'll have pics and updates soon.
